High-quality natural materials – comfort for you and your baby

Treat yourself to the comfort of bamboo knitwear . This material is breathable and soft to the touch. The fabric captivates with its subtle shine in the light, falls elegantly and emphasizes the curves of the figure. Proper maintenance will delay the appearance of laundry pilling, which can be especially visible on lighter shades. See the full range of Nightgowns .

Help with choosing a size

No one knows how your belly will grow before giving birth and how your figure will be afterwards. Since the fabric is quite elastic , it will stretch and contract without any problems. We recommend buying the same size as you normally wore before giving birth. If you have gained a lot of weight, especially in the chest area, go for a larger size.

Color

The color changes depending on the light. In the photos it appears red, in reality it is a classic burgundy .

Features/Advantages/Disadvantages

Bamboo viscose is a very fine, soft and breathable material , which is ideal for sensitive skin - including babies or eczema sufferers. It wicks moisture well (up to 60% better than cotton), absorbs odors, naturally regulates temperature and has antibacterial properties . It cools pleasantly in summer, warms in winter, and is exceptionally comfortable to wear.

The downside may be less durabilityit can stretch or pill over time if not properly cared for. It requires a more gentle wash cycle, preferably without a dryer or harsh detergents.

Overall, it is an excellent material for comfortable, breathable and naturally functional clothing - especially for mothers and children. It is also a suitable alternative to merino wool for those whose skin is irritated by merino - it is softer, smoother to the touch and suitable even for very sensitive skin.

Production process

The production process for bamboo viscose begins with the cultivation of bamboo, which is a fast-growing, environmentally sustainable plant because it does not require pesticides or large amounts of water to grow. After the bamboo is harvested, it is chopped into small pieces and chemically broken down into cellulose pulp using sodium hydroxide. This pulp is processed into a viscous liquid that is extruded into an acid bath, where fine fibers are formed. The fibers are then washed, dried, and spun into yarn, which is then used to make fabric.

Although bamboo is naturally occurring, the resulting fiber is chemically processed. The result is a soft, breathable, and absorbent fabric , and its environmental friendliness depends on the gentleness of the production process.
